As a leading authority in deep learning, machine learning, image restoration for deep learning, super-resolution in painting and others, Prof. Dr A. N. Rajagopalan, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras, brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. His explanation of the most-talked-about terminology of the day, computer vision, was self-explanatory. "Computer vision is an interplay among geometry, illumination and motion. Geometry is the depth of the scene; illumination is the light sources around the object, and then motion is the camera moving around the object," he said, explaining the idea of computer vision.
