Mahindra targets 10 lakh EV capacity by 2027, scouts land for new plant to strengthen manufacturing footprint and service upgrades.

Mahindra & Mahindra is actively scouting for a land parcel to establish a greenfield manufacturing plant aimed at boosting capacity for both domestic and export markets. The exploration follows the unveiling of its new NU IQ modular, multi-energy platform, which is designed to support a fresh range of SUVs, with product rollout expected from 2027.
The NU IQ architecture caters to multiple powertrains—combustion, electric, and hybrids—allowing Mahindra to tap into unserved market segments across India and abroad.
