Could you provide an overview of Castrol India’s history, operations, and market position in India?
Castrol India, founded in 1919, celebrates its 115th anniversary in 2024. As a market leader, we provide a diverse range of high-performance lubricants, including brands like Castrol MAGNATEC, POWER1 ULTIMATE, CRB TURBOMAX, and Castrol Activ. Over the years, these brands have become preferred choices for millions of customers across the country. Our offerings further extend to various sectors, including automotive manufacturing, mining, machinery, and wind energy.
With manufacturing facilities in Silvassa, Patalganga and Paharpur, boasting a combined capacity of 260 million liters, we ensure widespread availability through a distribution network comprising nearly 400 distributors.
As part of our growth strategy, we aim to expand into aftersales services for both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicles (EVs). Our service brands, such as Castrol Auto Service, Castrol Bike Points, Castrol Express Oil Change, and independent truck workshops cater to the aftersales needs across various vehicle categories.
