India Post has long been known as the carrier of emotions, connecting families, soldiers and communities across the country. Today, however, it is positioning itself as a modern logistics organisation. How has this transformation unfolded over the years?

India Post's evolution is closely intertwined with India's own journey of economic and technological transformation. For decades, the postal network served as the backbone of communication in the country. Long before mobile phones, social media and email became commonplace, letters, postcards and telegrams were the primary means through which people stayed connected. India Post carried messages between loved ones, delivered important government communications and became an emotional bridge connecting families separated by distance.
