TCS invests ₹4,500 crore in nationwide expansion across 6 cities

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is investing over 4,500 crore in a large-scale expansion that spans new campuses, leased offices, and long-term infrastructure projects across key Indian cities including Bengaluru, Kolkata, Kochi, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, and Visakhapatnam.

The IT major reported consolidated revenue of $30.18 billion, reflecting a 4.2% growth in constant currency. Net profit grew nearly 6%, and the company's operating margin stood at 24.3%.

In terms of human capital, TCS added 6,433 employees during the year, taking its total workforce to 607,979. The company onboarded around 42,000 fresh graduates and promoted more than 110,000 employees.

Attrition remained steady at 13.3%.
