NTPC, INDIA'S largest integrated power utility, reported a robust performance in FY24, driven by record generation, capacity additions, and a strategic pivot toward renewable energy.
The state-run energy major continued to cement its role as a key enabler of India's energy security while building a strong foundation for a greener future.
For the financial year ended March 31, 2024, NTPC clocked its highest-ever standalone generation of 422.5 billion units (BU), up from 422.2 BU in FY23.
Group generation stood at 422.7 BU, reaffirming its dominance in India's electricity landscape with a nearly 25 per cent share in the country's total power generation.
