ICICI BANK reported yet another stellar financial performance in FY24, bolstered by strong growth in core operating income, improved asset quality, and a robust balance sheet.
The second largest private sector banking major posted a record standalone net profit of Rs 42,726 crore in FY24, marking a 29.5 per cent year over year rise compared to Rs 33,278 crore in FY23. It is always part of the top banks list in our rankings.
The bank's total standalone income jumped to Rs 2,26,306 crore, driven by robust growth in net interest income (NII), which rose 17.4 per cent to Rs 73,810 crore. The net interest margin (NIM) stood at a healthy 4.43 per cent for the full year, indicating efficient pricing of assets and liabilities in a dynamic interest rate environment.
