2025 KRVSA Freedom Ride

KRVSA and everyone who loves the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes, we thank all the volunteers, supporters, sponsors, and sporting families who helped make Freedom Ride 2025 so successful. This year’s Freedom Ride was held March 1, 2025. Airboat families from all over gathered to enjoy what some called “the best riding weather anyone can remember.”

There was a fantastic outpouring of support at the event. with raffles, great KRVSA merchandise, amazing food as always, and just a good time to gather and support one of the greatest riding areas in the state.

Many times we hear, “What does KRVSA do with proceeds from fund raisers”? Well, that is a multifaceted answer. In recent years many clubs have found we see better progress with agencies with volunteers and relationships than we did with the traditional hiring of a lobbyist. In the last couple of years KRVSA has shifted to building relationships with agencies and matching funding for projects at the club level versus hiring a government lobbyist.

In the last yea we sent several representatives to Conservation at the Capital. A group of leaders traveled to Tallahassee to meet with Representatives, Senators, and FWC Commissioners on crucial items concerning the KCOL.
