MERCEDES GLC EV BREAKS COVER

The new Mercedes GLC EV has been showcased at the Munich Motor Show in Germany and this will directly lock horns the BMW iX3.

Underpinning the new Mercedes GLC EV is the MB.EA platform that supports an 800 V charging architecture. The GLC EV is powered by a 94-kWh NMC battery that supports a DC fast charging up to 330-kW. In other words, a range of 303 km can be had in just 10 minutes and charging from 10-80 per cent takes about 24 minutes. The company claims a range of 713 km (WLTP) on a full charge.
