A whole range of new caravans made their debut at the recent kykNET Buite Expo outside Mossel Bay.

Imagine has expanded its range with two new caravans: an additional ComfortVan variant and the new GravaVan, developed from the existing CruiserVan models.

The ComfortVan 2.0 features a fixed bed instead of the foldout version found in other models in the lineup. To accommodate this, the body has been extended by 50 cm. Although the prototype bed is mounted crossways, the production version will be fitted lengthways with bedside cupboards on either side.

The previous canvas-sided foldout section as second bed or wardrobe has been replaced by a 48 cm slide-out module in the 2.0.

Thanks to the longer body, the front storage box has doubled in size: 100 cm deep, 110 cm wide and 70 cm high.

Otherwise, the ComfortVan retains its well-known layout, including the external kitchen and bathroom.

The GravaVan is 80 cm shorter than the CruiserVan, keeping the same signature shape with a full-length popup roof. The bathroom, usually on the right as you step inside, now shifts across the door.

It’s also 250 kg lighter than the two current models with a GVM of 1 750 kg, and it rides on 15-inch wheels with a 2,5 t axle.

Cascade has updated the Bordeaux model's external kitchen, and in the process, the caravan has gained an extra window.

The outdoor kitchen's cabinet and work surface are positioned to the left of the door, above the wheel. The cabinet still offers multiple shelves and space for a microwave, but it now sits lower to make room for the new window. Inside, there's a cabinet with a countertop beneath the window.

The new models now ride on 16-inch wheels instead of 15-inch.
