With the ever-growing need for efficiency and sustainability innovation has been at the forefront of advanced pioneering technology driving the force and shaping the future of the automotive industry. This industry has undergone tremendous change over the last few years, right from gasoline engines to the adaptations of electric vehicles. A few years back, consumers had limited options to select from, but with the latest advancements in technologies, manufacturers have a wide variety of options listed for the consumers with custom options available.
According to a by Accenture New York, about two-thirds of consumers are sustainable minded drivers, these are the consumers who have been categorsied as extremely environmentally concerned and have certain requirements from the auto makers that meet their sustainability goals. On one hand, consumers increasingly demand environmentally responsible practices, with studies revealing that nearly 30% of buyers prioritize sustainability when making purchasing decisions. On the other hand, manufacturers face mounting pressures to adopt advanced technologies that can enhance productivity, reduce costs, and minimise environmental impact, all while meeting ever-tightening regulatory standards.
For decades, painting processes in automotive manufacturing have been a major bottleneck. Traditional spray painting methods, though reliable, come with inherent inefficiencies: significant overspray leads to wastage of materials, high energy consumption inflates operational costs, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) contribute to air pollution.
