DACIA BOSS QUITS AMID RESHUFFLE AT RENAULT GROUP

Dacia CEO Denis Le Vot has left the company, it has confirmed. In a social media post, Le Vot said he had “made the decision to leave the group to focus on personal projects”. He did not indicate what he was doing next.

He will be replaced by Mercedes-Benz executive Katrin Adt, who joins ahead of a vital period of expansion and electrification for the Renault-owned brand.

Autocar Award winner Le Vot had been Dacia’s CEO since January 2021 - his latest role in a long career with the Renault Group, which he joined as a sales director in 2000.

Le Vot was in the running for the Renault Group CEO job, following the recent resignation of Luca de Meo, but that ultimately went to procurement and public affairs boss François Provost.
