It might seem like something from a spy film, but the new Audioguard from Leeds-based Trusted Trackers marries a GPS locator with a high-quality audio recorder, so you can hear and record conversations from your car while monitoring its movements on an app.

The Audioguard is easy to fit because it slots straight into the car's diagnostic port, which provides it with a permanent 12-volt power supply even when the car is switched off.
