The Focus On Sustainable Treatment Processes

Q. How do you expect India to contribute to growth on the whole and how are you leveraging your global success?

A. Currently, India is one of the largest players in the world automotive market. Heraeus Noblelight has been a key supplier to automotive manufacturers for decades, especially across Europe and North America. The applications of infrared and UV solutions for automotive components are diverse. Everything from headlamps to airbags, brake pads to car seats and interior trims uses UV curing or infrared heat/drying of coatings, inks, and adhesives. It even extends to automation and optimisation of processes. India has significant opportunities for businesses to succeed. There have been advances on the regulatory, environmental and infrastructure front, which makes India even more attractive to invest in. Our experience and working with leaders across the industry give us the confidence to pursue the Indian automotive market. Without taking anything for granted, we want to understand challenges, some of which might be specific to the Indian auto industry, and try to solve them with our partners.

Q. With the auto industry prioritising safety as a parameter, how does Heraeus Noblelight cater to the OEMs?

A. Heraeus Noblelight has high standards in the areas of environment, health and safety. We provide agency-certified products for which we provide onsite support to our customers and work with equipment operators to go over the safety protocols. Our technical service team provides free on-site training to customers on equipment maintenance. Our products have built-in safety features to ensure the safety of both people and facilities.
