For over a hundred years, Turri has pursued a vision of excellence grounded in craftsmanship, quality and innovation. But rewind to 1925, when Pietro Turri opened his workshop in Carugo, just south of Lake Como, and wood was the soul of his furniture. “One of the stories passed down in our family is how, in those early days, the furniture from our first workshop would be transported to Milan on a horse-drawn cart for wealthy clients,” recalls Andrea Turri, now the fourth generation at the helm of the company. “The pieces would travel from Carugo down unpaved roads, guided by the craftsman himself.”

For Andrea, tradition means familiarity—a deep connection to timeless craftsmanship that is passed down from generation to generation. “I wasn’t raised with sawdust in my veins,” he admits. “My background is in management. But I grew up in an environment where the world of furniture was part of daily life. At dinner, it was what we talked about.”
