While remote, relaxing and peaceful, North Wales is very much in touch with the modern world with excellent road links. There is easy access to the A55 express way - an hour to Holyhead or half an hour to Chester. It's also close to the Offas Dyke Path and the North Wales Coastal Path and miles of beaches.
