KANOA'S KID PROJECT

Three-star Kanoa Lloyd has a new project in the works – a peÌ„pi! The TV presenter, 34, and her hubby Mikee Carpinter revealed they’re expecting their first child live on air, with Kanoa telling viewers, “I am leaving The Project… on maternity leave!”

As the camera panned to her filmmaker husband, who was in the audience, she added, “I’ve got the coolest baby-daddy in the world… I’m really excited. I’m going to be picking all your parent brains for what I’m supposed to do.”

Newshub anchors Samantha Hayes and Mike McRoberts quickly offered their congratulations on the “Newsbub”, while Kanoa’s co-hosts Jesse Mulligan and Jeremy Corbett presented her with a onesie with their faces on it. “This is the best!” she grinned. “Adorable but terrifying.”
