Stepping out onto the streets of New York, a glowing Katie Holmes radiated happiness – and sources say it’s all thanks to a string of dates with Jennifer Aniston’s ex Justin Theroux!

Last week it was revealed the couple enjoyed a secret four-hour get-together at a tiny restaurant in New York, and now friends are saying the dates have morphed into something more serious.

Since sparks flew last month, Katie, 40, decided to bravely take the next step and invite Justin for a cosy romantic dinner at her apartment – and it’s believed the 48-year-old actor and screenwriter stayed the night!

“One of her friends was chatting to Katie on the phone the morning after and she swears she heard Justin in the background,” spills an insider.

“She’s so happy right now. She’s like the cat that got the cream. She’s had to kiss her fair share of frogs, but in Justin she may have finally found someone who appreciates her. Even [daughter] Suri approves of him!”
