THAT’S ACCORDING TO A STUDY by Drexel University in the US. In a 2015 online survey, 870 adults aged between 18 and 82 (the average age of respondents was 35) were quizzed about their sexting behaviour. Interestingly, eight in 10 admitted to having sexted in the past year, while 74% confirmed they did so in a committed relationship. In fact, the study revealed that sexting within a serious and very committed relationship actually led to higher levels of relationship satisfaction.
So it seems that the way to a healthy relationship is through the messages on your phone. But anyone who’s ever received a WhatsApp that reads, ‘I want you to feel how hard I am for you’, will understand there’s more to the art of sexting than just saying whatever’s on your mind.
