Team India head coach Ravi Shastri is unlikely to renew his contract with the Indian team that expires following the conclusion of the T20 World Cup in the UAE and Oman in October-November. As per media reports, Shastri has already conveyed the same to the team. In fact, not only Shastri, but Team’s India’s support staff could also move on after the T20 World Cup. Presently, Vikram Rathour is the batting coach, Bharat Arun is the bowling coach while R Sridhar is the fielding coach of the Indian team. We look at likely replacements for the three.

1. PRAVIN AMRE:

Former India batter could be a decent choice as Team India’s new batting coach. Pravin Amre has mentored India’s Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, the talented Shreyas Iyer as well as Robin Uthappa. Amre earlier served as the assistant coach of Pune Warriors India franchise in the IPL and was the talent scout for Delhi Capitals. Earlier this year, he was again appointed as assistant coach of DC. As a player, he scored a famous hundred on his Test debut, in Durban against South Africa.
