The 23-year old Rishabh Pant is at the zenith of his cricket career. The swashbuckling southpaw was named the cap-tain of Delhi Capitals for the IPL 2021 after a shoulder injury to Shreyas Iyer ruled him out of the tournament. A year back not many would have backed this decision but things have changed dramatically.
As a cricketer, Pant has grown many folds and has earned immense respect as well in the past 5-6 months especially after India’s historic tour of Australia.

Pant is known for his hilarious antics behind the stumps. The things that go unnoticed are his field adjustment abilities along with the line, length and guidance to the bowlers.
Being a wicket-keeper, he can be seen and heard adjusting the field and guiding the bowlers like Ashwin, Axar, Kuldeep and Sundar. Wicket-keepers tend to have a better sense of angles and a relatively deeper understanding of the pitch all of which helps them in delivering the results as a skipper.
