Don't Underestimate Pogacar's Team

Tadej Pogacar has pulled off a win for the history books. I was joking to a friend on Saturday night that it was a “smash and grab” because Jumbo-Visma didn’t miss a beat and pulled for pretty much three weeks, and Pogacar and UAE haven’t pulled for a metre!

But to be serious, I don’t agree with the people who say he did it on his own. Even if your team isn’t pulling, you don’t get to be there in the sweet spot for free. They still had to get him up the front and keep him there and they’ve done that.
