It was a hot November morning in Agra, India and I had arrived at the Taj Mahal earlier than most. I was desperate to get first in the queue, to capture a heartstopping travel moment – dawn light bathing the world’s most beautiful architectural masterpiece. It was already feeling sticky after walking briskly with far too much kit, but the effort would surely be worth it.
