3 fast Sigma primes now for Fujifilm's X-mount

Sigma's 16mm f/1.4, 30mm f/1.4 and 56mm f/1.4 Contemporary are X-mount versions of APS-C mirrorless lenses already in the manufacturer's portfolio

The first Sigma optics for Fujifilm X-series cameras, this trio of f/1.4 primes covers similar territory to Fujifilm's own premium prime lenses, but the Sigma alternatives will be considerably more affordable. Already produced in Leica L-mount, Sony E-mount and Canon EF-M APS-C versions, these latest additions to Sigma's line-up represent good news for Fujifilm users - although Fujifilm's own lens range is now pretty extensive, its own equivalents to these new Sigma lenses retail for two or three times the price.

First up, the 16mm F1.4 DC DN | C offers a wide angle of view and a fast maximum aperture at a very reasonable price. Equivalent to a 24mm f/1.4 in full-frame camera terms, it doesn't have image stabilisation, but does boast fast and quiet stepping motor autofocus. The 30mm F1.4 DC DN | C
