Gear Review
-
I have been using Godox V1 in portrait-shoots and a lot of fastpaced South Indian wedding shoots since it’s launch and here are my thoughts on this product. Prior to the launch of V1, AD200Pro was my favorite flash, especially for Wedding shoots. V1 now comes a close second. The combination of both these flashes and LC500 LED light sticks has been my go-to Lighting Gear for Weddings.
The following are the important features and specifications:
• The biggest difference in this speed light to others like the Godox V860II is also the most talked-about and anticipated feature of V1 – its round head. Roundhead feels the most natural for an external light although not a very common feature among speed-lights. Prior to this the pocket strobe Godox AD200 also came up with a round-head attachment. The light falloff from a round head is a lot more gradual, the spread is even and the light quality pleasing.
