Geopolitical Shocks Will Not Impact Growth, Inflation Much

Transient economic shocks, including from the ongoing geopolitical conflict, may not have a big impact on India's real growth and inflation, the finance ministry said today.

India may feel its impact although, the magnitude will, of course, depend on how long the dislocations in energy and food markets persist in the financial year and how resilient India's economy is to mitigate the impact, the ministry's monthly economic review said.
