Will lay foundation stone of PGI Satellite Centre at Ferozepur, and two medical colleges.
The central government is giving a renewed push to health infrastructure in the region.
Preparations are in full swing ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the border town of Ferozepur today for laying the foundation stone for PGIMER's Satellite Centre at Ferozepur. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation of two medical colleges in Punjab at Hoshiarpur and Kapurthala.
Shri Banwari Lal Purohit, Governor of Punjab, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, and S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chief Minister of Punjab will also have their august presence at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the PGIMER' Satellite Centre by the Prime Minister scheduled to take place at 1.00 pm today.
