Mogul (3.05) can spoil the Enable party again and deny the wonder girl a historic third Arc.

The eyes of the racing world fall on to Longchamp this afternoon as John Gosden’s magic lady tries again to land the big race for the third time.

Wins in 2017 and 2018 set it up 12 months ago only for Waldgeist to storm home and deny her and Frankie Dettori at the death.

It’s astounding that she is back for a fourth crack at the race and none of us want to see her lose. We crave true equine heroes and heroines and Gosden’s charge winning would be a truly epic moment.

Oaks queen Love coming out of the race boosts the chances of Enable getting it done, but, while the heart wants her to win, the head tells you that 11/8 is just too short given she got done a year ago and surely can’t be improving.
