The actor, who will be at the India Today e-Mind Rocks on July 25, wants to create and tell stories irrespective of the lockdown

Blazing a new trail comes naturally to Rana Daggubati. The actor, who started out initially as a visual effects coordinator in more than 70 films, went on to produce a National Award-winning film and then forayed into acting in 2010 (he has his own production company, Spirit Media. Daggubati would be attending India Today e-Mind Rocks Youth Summit 2020 on July 25. His Telugu movie debut was the blockbuster Leader, for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South.

His Bollywood debut was the hit film Dum Maaro Dum (2011), opposite Bipasha Basu and he won the Zee Cine Award for Best Male Debut for it. He played the main antagonist in Telugu film Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) which recorded the second-highest gross opening for an Indian film. His fame rose exponentially.
