Now, De Niro Under Attack

Leaked voicemail shows Hollywood star swearing at former assistant, who accused him of sexually-charged comments and unwanted physical contact during service

Godfather actor Robert De Niro is being sued over alleged “gratuitous unwanted physical contact’” and gender discrimination by a former female employee Graham Chase Robinson. In a leaked voicemail from November 2012, De Niro can be heard telling her she is “about to be fired” as she is a “spoiled brat” who is “f****** history”.

Robinson, who became the star’s personal assistant at Canal in 2008, claims De Niro, who made his name playing mobster Vito Corleone, made “sexually-charged comments to her” and gave her “stereotypically female duties”. She also says he would lash out at her while drunk, treating her as his “office wife” and asked her to “imagine him on the toilet”.
