LEO PROBE IS OVER...NOW IT'S WITH DPP. Department to decide if criminal charges warranted. Tanaiste says 'no offence' has been committed
LEO Varadkar faces an anxious wait to see if he will be charged over a leaked secret document.
A file has been handed over to the Director of Public Prosecutions by cops probing his 2019 disclosure of a Government GP pay deal to a medic friend.
Mr Varadkar - due to be Taoiseach in December - said he was "confident" the outcome would be in his favour.
DETECTIVES investigating a leak of confidential documents by Tanaiste Leo Varadkar have sent a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Officers from the specialist National Bureau of Criminal Investigation sent the Garda file to the public prosecutor earlier this week.
