..but controversial cllr says he’s going it alone
Former mixed martial arts fighter Paddy Holohan remained tightlipped yesterday after announcing he was leaving Sinn Fein.
The councillor, who was a training partner of Conor McGregor, was elected for the party in 2019.
When contacted by the Irish Sunday Mirror, Mr Holohan said he did not wish to comment any further on the subject.
In January 2020, it emerged the 31-year-old had been suspended over a number of comments he made about then Taoiseach Leo Varadkar.
