Researchers sequence extinct bird’s full DNA

THE dodo could be brought back to life after the extinct bird had its entire genome sequenced.

Scientists could in theory edit DNA from another bird to include dodo DNA.

The flightless bird was wiped out by 17th-century sailors and their dogs when Europeans discovered its native Mauritius, an island in the Indian Ocean.
