Nilokheri Municipality Chairman’s election challenged in court
The recent elections for the post of Chairman of Municipality Nilokheri have been challenged in the Civil Court, Karnal with serious allegations. Accepting the petition, the concerned parties have been ordered to present their side on 22nd May. Also, the elected chairman has been asked to present his side before the court, information was given by advocate Rajkumar Sharma, who is pleading for the party to file the election petition. He said that voting was held on 2 March 2025 for the election of the Chairman of Municipality Nilokheri and in the counting of votes held on 12th March, Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate for the post of Chairman, Sanmeet Kaur Ahuja was declared victorious
