An own goal from Jack Batten gave Chippenham a 27th-minute lead, but they were a man down 11 minutes later when Klaidi Lolos marked his home debut with a sending-off.
Freddie Grant’s first goal for Bath leveled it up with 16 minutes left before Donovan Wilson received his marching orders for colliding with home goalkeeper Will Puddy.
Chippenham manager Mike Cook said he was satisfied with a point.
“It was pleasing to cope that well with ten men for around an hour,” he said.
“Bath knocked it about quite well without causing us much damage.
“I’ve got no argument with Klaidi’s red card. These days, as soon as the foot is high you’ll be off.”
