“There are people at Marine who have given the whole of their adult lives to Marine, they’ve given their hearts and souls to the club that they love,” Leary said. “There are dozens and dozens of those people. The FA Cup run is a reward to all of them – volunteers, club officials and sponsors who have got such an affection for the club. In all of the grief the world has at the moment, our FA Cup has given us something to smile about.”
