HARDY IS SO HANDY AT ALTY

JAMES HARDY is determined to get back to the form that made him one of the most exciting attackers outside the Football League after joining Altrincham.

The former England C regular has had his contract mutually cancelled by AFC Telford United following the termination of the National League North season.

It marks a return to Non-League’s top-flight where his performances for AFC Fylde and the Three Lions landed him the England C Player of the Year in 2019 and a move to the EFL with Walsall.

Hardy, 24, made his first appearance for Phil Parkinson’s Alty from the subs’ bench in Tuesday night’s 1-0 defeat to Chesterfield.

And he’s excited about helping the Robins continue their excellent season at Step 1.

“It’s trying to find the form I know I’m capable of and enjoy playing football and getting on the ball,” Hardy told The NLP.
