We’ve looked at fretting hand slaps, double popping, chord strumming, the open hammer-pop technique, and most recently, double thumbing. At this point we’ve covered more slap techniques than most bass players will ever need, but believe it or not, there are still additional tools that we can add to our repertoire. In this month’s column, we’re going to be looking at combining the various slap techniques that we now have at our disposal with other techniques.
