Take a walk around a typical fishery and you will come across many things. Happy anglers, wildlife, yours truly blanking, but almost always litter. Big litter, small litter, right next to the bin provided litter, so much litter.
You don’t have to be Hercule Poirot to work out what has been on the menu. By the dam wall we had a pasty eater with a fondness for Wagon Wheels. In the bay we had someone who likes shop-bought ciabatta sandwiches – fancy.
So who are you and why are you doing it? There seems to be a slippery slope when it comes to litter and I have identified the three stages of being a litterbug.
