THE DRAMA-FILLED RACE IN SPAIN AT THE FAMOUS CIRCUIT DE Barcelona-Catalunya was characteristic of Formula 1. Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton beat Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel at the Gran Premio de Espana Pirelli 2017, as Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo secured the third podium position. However, just one car from each of these teams finished the race, and Force India’s Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon closed out the top five. Valtteri Bottas, Kimi Räikkönen, Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso did not get the expected results, and it was as gruelling a race as has been witnessed over the last couple of years.
