Muscle Contest Ireland

Almost two hundred athletes from more than twenty countries came to the city of Limerick to compete in Muscle Contest Ireland. This inaugural, prestigious event was an IFBB Pro League Qualifier, where athletes competed for the opportunity to turn professional and join the ranks of the world’s elite. Muscle Contest Ireland was held in conjunction with Ireland’s first ever IFBB Professional contest where athletes competed for an invitation to Joe Weider’s Olympia weekend to be held in Las Vegas Nevada, September 13-15,2018.

Held at the South Court Hotel and Convention Center, hosted by multi Mr. USA winner, Tamer El Guindy and multi Irish and world champion, Brian Bullman, this event proved to be a monumental weekend of bodybuilding and fitness. The weekend saw the world of professional bodybuilding descend on the historic city of Limerick, the home of Irish champions: Ireland’s first ever Mr. Ireland winner, Tommy Dillon, Ireland’s first ever IFBB Pro, Sean Bullman, European Champion, Jim Butler and multi-national and world champions, Shane Brodie and Liam Beville, all of whom represented the IFBB Pro League at the show.

IFBB Pro Cards were awarded in a total of six divisions - Bodybuilding, Physique, Classic Physique, Bikini, Figure and Women’s Physique.
