Get the Skinny on Three Countries Outside the U.s. That Are Fast Becoming ‘home Away From Home’ for African-Americans

The U.S. has long been touted as the best place, outside of Africa, for people of African descent to live, and while there are definitely perks to living in the land of red, white and blue, it’s definitely not the only place where Black Americans can succeed. With racial tensions in the States boiling over, some of us have chosen to move abroad and form small yet thriving expat communities around the world. We’re taking the skills we’ve learned at home as health care professionals, entrepreneurs, teachers and in other occupations to set up lives that though not perfect, provide a better quality of life for ourselves and our families.
