Nobody knows exactly what the human mind is and how it works due to its complexity and intangibility. It does not have any physical entity, though it exists in every human being. ‘The mind has a mind of its own’ goes a saying. It is a cluster of thoughts and how it works is a great riddle even to philosophers and psychologists. A bull knows how to hit; a snake knows how to bite; a dog knows how to chase; and a donkey knows how to kick. But a man knows how to do all these things, and more. The mind is always associated with humans only because it can think, act and influence his or her life. Animals do not have a mind that can think and act. But animals always act by their instinct.
