KRISTOFFER Ajer and Cristian Gamboa will enjoy the bragging rights in the Celtic dressing room after putting their club rivals to the sword on international duty in the first rounds of games played during the break.
Making his first senior appearance for Norway, Ajer crowned offa memorable personal occasion by helping Norway crush Australia 4-1 in Oslo.
Tom Rogic came on for the Socceroos on the hour mark, but he couldn’t prevent the hosts cruising to an emphatic victory on Friday night.
Gamboa, meanwhile, played for 75 minutes of Costa Rica’s 1-0 win over Scotland at Hampden as Alex McLeish experienced defeat in his first match in charge of the national team.
