Sensitive Space Planning Made The Most Of This Apartment Home

A monochrome palette and sensitive space planning make the most of this apartment home.

Downsizing is usually difficult, especially if one is moving from a sizeable landed property to a less spacious apartment. At 1,130sq ft, this three-bedroom flexi condo unit is comfortable by most standards, but for the family of three moving in, it needed a couple of tweaks to sufficiently accommodate their needs.

Storage space was the foremost requirement that was conveyed to Winstar Tey of Noble Interior Design. “The owner wanted to increase the storage capacity of the home, but also stressed the importance of an uncluttered appearance,” says the designer. Unfussy in terms of interior style, the family did however engage a feng shui master whose recommendations influenced several design elements, including the TV console unit and the bedroom layouts.
