The Brief

Designing for a “charismatic couple” wanting everything done at the highest level with a unique spin, Julia Baydyk, Founder of Alta Idea, landed on a variation of the Art Deco theme for this home, a modern interpretation of luxury living.

With 1,830sq ft at her disposal comprising a spacious living room, two bedrooms and bathrooms as well as private zones for the owners—an office for him, two dressing rooms for her and a gym—Julia worked with her team to conceive a space designed for a “free and elegant lifestyle.” Together with noble stone, velvet, glossy finishes and rich-toned woods, brass accents interspersed throughout via decor and hardware evoke an air of refinement and comfort.
