Once upon a time, The Local Kitchen Co was so neatly tucked away at the Posthouse Link Centre in Bryanston that you could miss it in a blink. Seven years later, an expansion that includes a new private dining room, dedicated takeaway, main restaurant and outdoor deck upgrade means the good ol’ fashioned warmth that oozes from this eatery is not only palpable, but also very visible.

The Local Kitchen Co is run under the watchful eye of co-owner, Piers Proctor-Urwin and his life partner, Ashleigh Milne, who is also head chef – her impressive career includes stints in Cape Town at the renowned La Colombe and under the mentorship of the widely loved Franck Dangereux of The Foodbarn.
