Pierre Traversier and Roze de Witte’s lovingly restored 19th century home in Montmartre is a reflection of their own free spirit and combined love for jet-setting.

In the kitchen cum dining area: The industrial style steel roof allowed Roze and Pierre to open up this part of the house, which originally had several smaller rooms. The ceiling lights are flea market finds while the table was assembled from several elements found in second-hand goods stores. The chairs are by Arne Jacobsen, Charles and Ray Eames, Vernor Panton and Cees Braakman. The couple’s choice of furnishings was motivated by the desire for things to match the style of the villa Left The cabinet used to be a florist’s workbench. The cast iron tree branch on the wall is a kind of altar for two literary works Roze holds dear. Some vases and big plates are part of Roze’s father’s collection, while others are her own creations.
