The Importance of Chair Yoga For Movement

Chair Yoga is a gentle form of Yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support.

Yoga has been shown to improve overall health, prevent and (even in some cases)reverse disease when practiced regularly as a lifestyle. With this in mind, it’s no surprise that it can therefore lend its benefits to those with mobility issues. Here are some of them:

Yoga practice strengthens muscles in a functional way, attending to every area of the body, balancing strength with flexibility.
