After three decades in the industry, today he is one of the most well-known Indian designers in the country and the world. The first question that comes to mind: how does he do it? How does he keep himself constantly inspired? And most importantly, how does it feel to be a veteran? He coolly explains how time is just an aspect and he is glad to be doing what he loves the most.‘‘I know it should feel special but it doesn’t feel like 30 years. I get to work with wonderful, young people, produce collection after collection, and do interesting collaborations. I have always believed that fashion is the politest way of talking about sex. And that is something that constantly inspires me. But I still enjoy what I do and that is the true test of a lasting career. I hope to keep doing this for the next 30 years.’’
